SENIOR status

Here's some actual photos from graduation day!
Top: 218 boys - Zig, Mike, Kyle, Kurt
Bottom: Zig, Kyle, Amanda, and Morgan
I could cry a river right now. I am loosing it. My boys are leaving me, they are all graduating and I can't even go to their ceremoney. My tears are going to flow today and every day. I love all my boys so much, they have been there for me so many times. We have laughed and shared countless fun memories, they mean so much to me and I love them very much.

Oh and if that isn't bad enough, I won't see my college friends all summer. We usually do 2 to3 visits over the summer with everybody but I won't be there for them  this summer.

So, CONGRATS to Susquehanna's class of 2010! You did it!!! The memories will stay with me forever.

And now.... I'm a SENIOR!!!
WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!?!?! How did this happen and how do I make it stop? Ahhhhhhhhh!!!

King's Visit to see Mike & Amanda

So my older brother Michael can either be a completely pain in my ass or the best thing ever. In our relationship there isn't so much middle ground; it's either hate or love. Two weekends ago I went to go visit him and his girlfriend, Amanda Lin at his alma mater, King's College in Wilkes-Barre PA. It was so happy that I could go visit them, and meet Amanda for the first time because more often than not they are far away from me. Amanda lives in North Carolina and Mike lives in Morristown New Jersey. They work for the same company, Shaw Flooring Incorporated and meet while working in Georgia. To the best of my knowledge every year the company has a new class of salesmen go to Georgia for training, Mike trained in 2009 and meet Amanda who already worked there and trained the previous year. Something that's quite crazy is that Amanda is from Oregon!!! I just think that crazy, it's so far away. Well, I guess you never know how or when you meet somebody special. I just spent the night there for dinner with them and Mike's good college friend, Tim and his awesome girlfriend Amanda. I must say the night with the two Amanda's was great. It was fun going out with everybody and spending quality time with Amanda, Mike, and his college buddies. I really had a great time, and I think that Mike is lucky to have such a wonderful, spunky, considerate, and beautiful girl like Amanda. Here are some pictures from the night.

Spring Weekend 2010!

This past weekend was amazing, and it was spring weekend on campus too so it was even that much more amazing, even though I barely did any campus activities. Basically, it's a weekend when you don't do any homework and then don't feel bad about it, because nobody else is doing homework either. So me and my friends were inspired to take a beach trip to see the sun rise after hearing that one of your friends did (B. Derr, 2010). Words can't even describe how much fun the trip was. It all started when I suggest it to Morgan, and actual plans picked up quickly. Kim, Allison, Morgan, and I left friday night (saturday morning) @ 1:30 AM. We were supposed to get there at 5:15 according to the GPS but I promised we'd be there by 4:45. (I was right!) I drove my santa fe (my new car) the whole way to Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Some memories were the puddle, the moon show, running to the spot light (as), fail on jump pictures, Kim knocking morgan out, the most beautiful sunrise we've all ever seen, b-fast at The Golden Bell Dinner, going to my house, and meeting my kitties. Overall, it was a fantastic time with some of the best friends I could ask for. God has put such amazing people in my life I couldn't be anymore thankful! Other than that it was a great weekend but the staying up for 48 hour thing wrecked me later! I helped my friend Zach decorate his classroom hallway for a ocean unit, it was so much fun.
ROAD TRIP!!!!! driving time: 1:30 AM - 4:45 AM

Then on Sunday I went hiking with my Sunday School class. Landon, Zach, Kim, Kelsey, Corinne, Sarah, and Wendel. I barely made it up the mountain because I definitely was dehydrated, thank God that Kim was there on the trip too to help me out. Also a thanks to the group for not leaving me very far behind. It was awesome to be in the fellowship with believers on top of a mountain that over look the county that my college is in. We finished the story of Jonah and the fact that we all felt so comfortable to be real and share the struggles and trials in our life was amazing. I pray that all of us folow God's commands and continue to rely on and grow in Christ!
